Even if a gourmet cooking class is perfect, many that just cover the basics of special sauces and cooking techniques should serve you well in your attempt. This will cost you more than getting the dried versions in a small bottle, but the fresh ones are always the best and offer the most flavor. Cooking gourmet recipes that make the mouth water is not just something for chefs, but rather, something anyone can do with a little outside help. Most grocery stores hold some fresh spice and herbs for this very reason.
